Department of Economics, Management and Information Systems in Construction

The scientific research activity of the department is focused on complex approaches to the economic context of construction and construction projects, with significant support for the use of information technology for digitalization and virtualization of projects. The department is oriented towards solving scientific problems in the topics of economic sustainability of construction, key performance indicators of construction projects, use of information and communication technologies and their application for the needs of digitalization and modeling of economic parameters of construction.

• Consultancy in the field of economics in the management of construction projects and the preparation of business plans

• Expert assessment and evaluation of quotations for the provision of an existing retaining wall

• Expert analysis to quantify the value of the earthworks and construction works carried out, including the value of the construction materials used

• Preparation of an expert report for the purposes of the court hearing to assess the value of the construction work carried out

• Analysis and explanation of the usual pricing methods used by contractors for comparable contracts in order to claim reimbursement of administrative overheads and loss of profit
